What is SEDS-UCF?

Founded in 1989, SEDS-UCF is the official UCF chapter of SEDS-USA. As a whole, the organization is dedicated to the exploration and development of space. We pursue this goal by educating students of all ages about the wonders of space - be it engineering, science, or space law and policy.

We provide members opportunities to develop their leadership and networking skills, through hands-on projects and a welcoming community for like-minded students.

Ultimately, SEDS-UCF's mission is to provide ambitious students the resources they need to pave humanity's path to the stars.

Why Should You Join?

SEDS-UCF provides the means to break out of the monotony of the classroom and put knowledge and skills to use in real world projects and experiences.

You will have the opportunity to connect, network, and pick the brains of like-minded students, as well as industry professionals.

Members are also able to attend the SEDS national conference (SpaceVision), tour various space company facilities, and take on leadership positions inside the club.
