The secondary rocket project for 2025-2026, Project IRIS is focused on the development of an in-rocket laser communication payload. This project challenged the team to develop a vibration-resistant environment to be launched on an L2 rocket at SRA in Palm Bay, FL.

This project is led by Ana Valdivia, who appointed 3 subteams:

• Aerostructures (led by Jefferson Quintero)
• Payload (led by Jared Widiker)
• Systems (led by Christian Carneiro)
