SEDS@UCF was founded in 1988 by Jim Brice to serve as the UCF chapter for the national Students for the Exploration and Development of Space organization. While striving to fulfill our national mission, the goal of our chapter has been simple from the start: give UCF students the resources and tools they need to explore, join, and lead in the space industry.
In the years since our founding, our organization has undertaken countless projects, designed numerous rockets, competed in hundreds of competitions, and pushed UCF students to the bleeding edge of space exploration and development, all while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all involved.
A list of our alumni can be found here.
While not a comprehensive list, this list attempts to highlight all of the previous projects that SEDS@UCF has undertaken. Unfortunately throughout the years we've lost information, causing projects to fall into the dark. As we rediscover them, we do our best to document these projects to highlight the achievements of our alumni.
SEDS@UCF has used a number of websites throughout the years. While most of these sites are now offline and not accessible, they can still be visited through tools like the Wayback Machine. Some of these sites are listed below:
